THE YEAR IS 2389, THINGS ARE VERY DIFFERENT IN THE BETA QUADRANT

In a world where one species has been rocked to their very core, another has lost everything they ever held dear to them, and both are bent on showing that they can recover in vastly different ways. All it takes is one shot across the bow and hell might break loose. Add into that one race that may choose to take advantage of all the chaos and it looks like a recipe for disaster. The Raeyan Transit Corridor, the buffer zone between two of these races is the only thing that separates them both from all-out battle; add to that tensions and only Bravo Fleet’s Task Force 93 is there to stop these two races from trying to take each other out of the equation.

Analytical reports supplied by Starfleet Intelligence, Romulan Section, following the Treaty of Nelvana in 2387, indicated the possibility of insurrectionist movements, similar to that of the Maquis in the Cardassian/Federation Demilitarized Zone, occurring within the newly formed Raeyan Transit Corridor. To that effect, assets were placed in the Raeyan Transit Corridor to monitor the situation and report back. The possibility became reality on July 3rd, 2388 when the USS Venture, was attacked by the Free Romulan Warbird (FRW) V’ashan, Mogai-Norexan, and in a time when the Free Romulan Movement are now beginning their attacks, attacks on anything that may transit the corridor, having the USS Cavalry in the Raeyan Transit Corridor means another ship for the movement to focus on, and with support from other ships within Task Force 93, and the fleet leadership, anything is possible as the USS Cavalry begins it’s new chapter.

WELCOME TO THE USS CAVALRY, NCC-77919. A SOVEREIGN-CLASS STARSHIP BASED IN TASK FORCE 93

The USS Cavalry is ready to serve. Following a long 6-month layover for a repair and refit schedule that was sorely needed, the new crew of the USS Cavalry are ready to get out there. It has been a long six months seeing the ship gutted and repaired, refitted with new systems and personnel. The old crew, bare a few junior people are left. The crew have moved on, tired of sitting around waiting for something to happen. The day is here, the USS Cavalry is ready to serve once more, guided by the overall principle of “exploring strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilisations, to boldly go where nobody has gone before”. The USS Cavalry has been assigned to Task Force 93 to assist with containing and hopefully repelling the Free Romulan Movement. The USS Cavalry is a fiction-based simulation. We currently do not accept any applications, if visitors are interested in joining a simulation, please look at the amazing Task Force 93 simulations that are on offer and consider applying for those simulations.

Welcome to the website for the simulation, please have a look around and enjoy a read of our mission posts.
